Consistent Cursive accesses your camera so you can photograph your handwriting practice. Before any photo is sent for AI feedback, the app asks for your explicit permission and names the service it will be sent to. You can decline and keep using every other part of the app. We do not store your photos.

If you agree, the photo is sent to Anthropic (anthropic.com) together with the title and practice instructions of the lesson you are working on, so that Claude can write feedback on your handwriting. Nothing else is sent with it: not your name, not your email address, and not your subscription identifier. We do not retain the photo after your feedback is returned, and your lesson progress is stored locally on your device and never transmitted.

AI feedback is offered as an optional subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple, and we use RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an anonymous app-generated identifier. We do not receive your name, email, or payment details.

We use Anthropic's API to provide AI handwriting feedback. Photos sent through the API are covered by Anthropic's Commercial Terms of Service, under which submitted content is not used to train their models. We share personal data only with the providers named above, only for the purposes described here, and only where that provider is contractually bound to protect it to a standard equal to the protections in this policy. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
